| VIA DOLOROSA-GROTTO WILL BE A NATIONAL AND WORLD LANDMARK It started with an amateurish snapshot of a forested hillside beside the Kamay Ni Hesus Healing Church, then in the middle of the construction, the photographer took three shots-which when developed became a perfect consolidated, panoramic shot. The amateur photographer was Kamay Ni Hesus Ministry Foundation (KHMFI) Trustee Benito J. Brizuela- and he used his simple, but reliable non-panoramic camera. When the film shots were developed, he got the shock of his life. For indeed, the panoramic view was fully taken into the developed picture. But the miracle did not there! One night later, he dreamt that the Virgin Mary garbed like the Lady Of Lourdes (France)- was "ordering," him to finance, and construct "Her Grotto," on that very hillside pictured by him two days earlier. "Tito Benny," urgently sought the go signal of his fellow trustees in the Foundation. To get the consensus, he and his wife Tita Dina, commited to shoulder the full cost of the project, even undertaking to hire needed working crews for the purpose. The work pace was fast and furious. In just two months, the project view was already clear. The project was expanded not just for a GROTTO, but complete with VIA DOLOROSA AND WAY OF PURIFICATION. The waterways from the hillside (Level Of The Virgin Mary) down to the ground-level pool is now completed. The Grotto, and Via Dolorosa has 257 steps altogether-taller than the one in Baguio City. The stations of the Cross are along the pathway and at the center is Mama Mary-Our Lady of Lourdes. The fountain of healing water (From Mount Banahaw) will start from her statue. At top of the hill, is the 50-foot image of the Resurrected Christ. All those who have seen the structure surmises that it is bigger than that of the Christ the Redeemer image of Brazil. The vision and the dream are now a reality. Thanks to the benevolence of the Brizuela Family, and the wholehearted support of his co-trustees, what was conceived as a simple Healing Church-to be funded by the Catholic faithful, and benefactors-is now a NATIONAL LANDMARK. |

| KAMAY NI HESUS HEALING CHURCH BY THE PRIEST AND HIS FRIENDS It all started when the young Healing Priest Of Quezon discovered his God-given powers as a healer-agent. As more and more of his "patients," come to discover his "gifts of healing,"- clamors for a permanent church became louder. And so it came to pass that one day, Fr. Joey Faller sought the help of his superior- Bishop Ruben T. Profugo. He sought his approval for him to build "his," Healing Church in his hometown of Lucban, famous for its wholesome, cool weather- and the "Pahiyas-Festival," longanisa and brojas and kiping. The good bishop acceded to the priest's request- and pointed to a parcel of agricultural land donated to the church by the family of the late Fr. Ella. This is in Barangay Tinamnan-2 kilometers outside the town proper, in the direction of Tayabas, and to Lucena City. Then followed the gathering of Fr. Joey's friends-mostly member of the charismatic communities. The lawyer in the group was commissioned to formalize the organization of a Foundation to which entity The Roman Catholic Bishop of Lucena, will lease the approximately 26,000 square property-for 50 years-renewable. In due time, the Kamay Ni Hesus Ministry Foundation was born-as duly registered non-stock, non-profit corporation. What followed was the "finger-pointing," sessions-not only for capital contributions, but also for commited donations for the church construction. All sorts of fund-raising ideas were pursued by the trustees. Fr. Joey himself was kept busy, doing "his healing," in the name of the Lord- and soliciting donations for the KHMFI-sponsored church. The donors came from all walks of life- farmers, small sari-sari owners, big corporations, and foundations. The Lucbanins USA (Natives of Lucban) poured in their support- and so with the catholic faithful and benefactors from churches where Fr. Joey hold masses-domestic, and abroad. It's so gratifying- how the united vision, and efforts of a few got the support of so many! ENTER |
